![]() They were closing, I was freaking out and crying. I immediately exited the interstate and took the long way and drove directly to the dealership. All I could think was, "I hope my husband can Scrooge McDuck with all the money he gets from my death" but then the car kicked back on. I'm doing 80 on an Atlanta interstate when the car cuts off. My brother had had cancer surgery that morning and the boys were hanging with me so mom could stay with dad. This last time I was on the interstate with my 9yr old and 11 yr old nephews. So I of course take it back and I'm told that my paranoia over the sound is making me feel that. So, I took it home.īy the next time when it made the noise I could feel a slight "pull" or " hesitation" in both the steering wheel and whatever pedal my foot was on or near. Told me it sounded electrical but they couldn't replicate how to force it to make the noise so they said it was safe and they had driven it, it's just a noise. So I went back, this time they kept it for a week. It continued and started happening more frequently. They told me there wasn't anything wrong with it but to bring it back if it continued. So after the 1st 2 weeks I took it in and they kept it for 4 days. It happened when you slowed down, sped up, stopped, was in town, was on the highway, summer, winter, spring, fall, rainy, dry. It started as what my husband calls "car farts" it would just make a noise that sounded like a burp at random times. This has been happening since the beginning. My husband bought the car for me for our anniversary 2 years ago so the car was bought 2/20/19 it only has 13,600 miles on it because it's always either not running or I feel unsafe driving it. ![]()
